Water Worlds: In Space

Over 1 million known species of plants and animals exist in Earth’s water bodies. Scientists believe there are 9 more million species yet to be discovered. On Earth!

We cannot colonize any planet unless we find water first. Water is essential to sustain earth lifeforms. Therefore, if we find water, we will most likely find aquatic life.

The more water, the easier colonization will be. The more water, the more aquatic life.

Regardless of the alien planet’s point in their evolutionary history, a significant amount, if not the majority, of alien life forms will be aquatic.

Will they be intelligent? What would they look like?

And what would they taste like? Seafood is delicious…
